The ideal candidate will lead enterprise-wide risk partnering at a senior executive level, shaping governance and remediation strategy during a critical transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high-performing team of risk professionals.
* Oversee the annual risk profile, audits, remediation, and control effectiveness.
* Establish and manage executive risk committees across multiple portfolios.
* Drive remediation and compliance uplift linked to regulatory requirements.
* Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and influence enterprise governance.
* Present risk insights and updates at Board and executive level.
Qualifications & Experience
* A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
* The successful candidate will have 10–15 years' experience in enterprise risk, audit, or assurance across large organisations.
* Proven leadership capability with direct and indirect reports is essential.
* Demonstrated experience presenting to senior executives and Boards is necessary.
* Strong technical knowledge of risk frameworks (ISO 31000, COBIT) is also required.
