The role:
Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced menus for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea with management approval and within the centre's budget.
Ensuring you are fully aware of and cater to the specific allergy & dietary requirements of all the children.
Maintaining a consistently high standard of hygiene, health, and safety in the kitchen at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in cooking for large groups of children aged 0-6 years (desirable)
Hold or willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervision Skill Set Certificate
Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (desirable)
Experience in a home or commercial kitchen, is preferred
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Current WA Working with children check
