Overview
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Remote Services Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate primary health care services across PAMS' remote clinics. The role involves clinical oversight, operational management, staff development, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements (including AGPAL). Frequent travel to remote clinic locations is required to foster a strong on-ground presence and maintain trusted relationships with the communities served.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight and ensure delivery of high-quality primary health care across all clinics.
Manage operational activities, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and facilitate staff development.
Ensure compliance with health standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements.
Travel frequently to remote communities to maintain relationships and oversee clinic operations.
Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives and manage data reporting.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA registration.
Minimum 5 years of comprehensive primary health care experience with strong clinical leadership.
Previous management experience with multidisciplinary teams across diverse geographical areas.
Sound understanding of Aboriginal health and cultural issues.
Proficiency in continuous quality improvement, accreditation, Medicare optimisation, and data reporting.
High-level written and verbal communication skills with conflict management capability.
Proficient in health management systems (preferably Communicare) and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel to remote locations via 4WD and light aircraft.
Current WA Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and a valid manual driver's licence.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communicate sensitively.
Prior experience as a Remote Area Nurse (RAN) and in or with remote Aboriginal communities is preferred.
Additional qualifications in leadership, chronic disease management, mental health, child health, or related fields are beneficial.
