Job Summary
The Office Manager role plays a vital part in the daily operation of an organization. This position is responsible for managing administrative and financial functions, including bookkeeping, payroll, client communication, and scheduling support.
* Onboarding new clients requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently to ensure timely payments and minimize financial risks.
* Issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments promptly to maintain a positive cash flow.
* Prepare and lodge tax returns, superannuation, and PAYG reports accurately and within deadlines.
* Meet with external accountants as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage employee timesheets Vs PODs to optimize workforce utilization and reduce costs.
* Provide administrative support to the team by coordinating tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring seamless communication.
* Manage insurance, registrations, and documentation for company vehicles and equipment to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in office administration and bookkeeping with proficiency in accounting software.
