About the role
Fivecast is established as a leading provider of open-source intelligence capability in APAC. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our dynamic sales team and drive revenue growth in the rapidly evolving field of open-source intelligence.
This role is an exciting opportunity to further drive high growth, and to join a visionary and highly motivated leadership team that provides strategic direction and support. The Vice President of Sales, APAC will be strongly aligned with Fivecast’s mission and vision to positively contribute to global security and intelligence missions.

* Key Collaborators: VP Strategic Growth, VP Global Partnerships, Global Director of RevOps, Senior Director of Marketing, Director of Finance & Operations
* Key Reports: 5 Account Executives, PreSales Engineering Lead, Customer Success Lead. With dotted line to APAC Field Marketing Manager
* Location:Canberra, ACT
* Travel:Regular (up to 20%) APAC travel will be required. Some travel to the Fivecast office in Adelaide, Australia may be required.
Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and expand market presence.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team of 15-20 people, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to provide accurate and timely insights to senior management.
* Customer-centric culture: promoting a customer-centric culture within the sales, tradecraft, customer success and training teams, where the focus is on delivering value and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
* Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics and regularly evaluate the sales team's performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Negotiation and Closing: Lead high-stakes negotiations and close major deals to drive significant revenue growth.
Essential Criteria:
* NV1 clearance or eligibility to acquire one (Australian citizenship required)
* 10+ years' experience and a proven track-record in enterprise software sales
* 5+ years of sales team leadership
* Superior ability to build lasting customer relationships across both government and commercial sectors
* Expert level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong team leadership and management skills
* Demonstrated history of over-achieving sales targets and earning 100% club awards
Desirable Criteria:
* Recent experience selling to federal agencies including defence, law enforcement, border protection and national security
* Strong/relevant network/rolodex of contacts in target accounts/agencies
* Understanding of application of open-source intelligence and risk assessment
