Physiotherapist - what's involved in the role?
As our new Physiotherapist, you will provide Physiotherapy services to our customers involved in Short Term Restorative Care, Home Care Packages, and other community programs.
You will enjoy meeting with our Rockhampton customers in their own home to assess their needs and monitor, review and verify the quality and effectiveness of services provided on a regular basis. Provision of services to customers could include Exercise Prescription, Rehabilitation, Hydrotherapy, Strength, Mobility and Balance Programs.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate customer records with supporting documentation of care plans, progress notes, customer reviews, outcome measures, incidents, and consent.
This is a mobile role and administrative tasks can be done either at home or our Suncare Rockhampton office or co-working space, which allows for greater flexibility and autonomy.
This position is available as either a Full-Time or Part-Time Permanent position. There is flexibility with fortnightly hours (Monday to Friday), and we invite you to outline your preference in your cover letter. For example, you may be seeking a Part-Time arrangement of school hours across 5 days, or 4 full days a week.
What you will bring to our team:
Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
Significant practical experience or extensive knowledge in providing Physiotherapy services in a rehabilitation and/or aged care setting
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisation and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an inter-disciplinary team
A great attitude, willing to learn new things, and most importantly an interest in listening and understanding what the customer wants
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
A valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring it is appropriately insured
