NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced Crane & Rigging Supervisor for a permanent role with our client based at their Yatala depot.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tower crane operations, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of WHS and rigging compliance requirements.
Responsibilities in this role will include:
* Leading and supervising riggers, dogmen and tower crane crews both in the yard and on site
* Coordinating crane lifts and rigging activities with project teams
* Overseeing tower crane assembly, installation, disassembly and relocation of cranes & rigging equipment in line with manufacturer and site requirements
* Ensuring all operations meet WHS and compliance standards
* Managing equipment readiness, inspections and maintenance schedules
* Driving daily pre starts, toolbox talks and safety-first behaviours
Along with the above skill set, the right person will possess the following:
* 5+ years of experience in crane operations and rigging
* Proven leadership experience managing site crews
* Have the ability to read and understand manuals and strive to find information themselves
* Be quality focused with strong attention to detail
* Be calm under pressure and solution oriented
* Intermediate Rigging (RI) HRWL
* Construction card
* Current drivers licence, HR preferred
This is a Monday to Friday role, with Saturdays as required based on workload.
A permanent hourly pay rate of between $58-65/hr plus penalties is on offer, based on experience and qualifications.
