What You Will Do
- Lead global team and mentor staff by overseeing multi-region teams (Sydney/Hong Kong/Mumbai), driving project excellence, and fostering a high-performing culture.
- Direct crisis management by owning all escalated technical issues, determining systemic root causes, assessing business impact, and reporting explicit action plans to stakeholders.
- Drive APAC strategy by applying deep domain knowledge to create strategic proposals that influence technology roadmaps and process improvement across the region.
- Manage critical EUS by ensuring the stability and performance of all local end-user infrastructure (Desktops, Phones, VC, Network) for traders and engineers.
What's Needed
- 10+ years of experience in supporting office technologies, with at least 3 years leading an IT Support Team in a large, global organization.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills; must be outcome-oriented and self-driven with the ability to plan forward.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7 & 10), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and MS Office Suites.
- Requires prior experience supporting a 'follow the sun' model and a basic understanding of networking concepts (routing/VLAN's/Firewalls/etc.). Mandatory participation in the team's APAC office rotational hours is required.
- Advantageous experience includes Data Centre environments (racking/cabling), trading room environments, and trading applications.
