Base pay range
A$140,******/yr - A$180,******/yr
The Company
A well-established Top-Tier contractor with over 30 years in the Civil Construction industry in NSW. They have a national presence within the civil and rail infrastructure space.
Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation of subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, contract documentation, and procurement schedules
Dealing with claims from sub-contractors and suppliers
Submission and evaluation of variations
Managing both upstream and downstream
Head contract administration
Prepare end-of-monthly cost reports for presentation to the Construction Manager & project director
Administer RFIs to clients and consultants
Assist Project Manager with daily operations
Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers & sub-contractors
Ideally you will possess
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a similar field
Minimum of 3 years post–study relevant practical experience in Australia (TFNSW preferred)
Sound knowledge of the NSW civil construction market including managing sub-contractors, suppliers, etc.
Experience working on complex or multiple projects
Demonstrated a proven track record of the successful delivery of contracts across civil infrastructure projects
Beneficial for you to have
Ability to work to deadlines
A strong background in contracts administration or quantity surveying working downstream and upstream
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Jobpac, Procure, Cheops experience or similar
