Underground Drill and Blast Engineer
As a key member of our Technical team, you will play a pivotal role in generating, scheduling, and implementing short-term mine plans to achieve operational goals in a safe and cost-effective manner.
* You will work closely with the Scheduling Engineer to ensure production plans align with weekly and monthly objectives.
* In this hands-on role, you will inspect and assess underground production areas, liaise with survey and geology departments, and provide technical support to underground supervisors and crew members.
* You will manage daily and weekly data for reporting purposes, monitor blast vibrations, and provide technical input into large-scale production plans.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Experience in a similar underground position
* Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering
* Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Experience in mine design software, with Deswik being the preferred package
* Experience in a production engineering-related role with exposure to underground ventilation
* Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of competency or ability to attain it
* Dangerous Goods Security Card or proof of application
* Must reside in the Goldfields or relocate for this residential site
* Current Unencumbered Western Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
