Midnight Hotel Autograph Collection is seeking a dynamic and results‐driven full‐time Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating memorable event experiences, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
As a Conference and Events Sales Executive, you will promote and sell the hotel's conference and event spaces, manage client relationships, and coordinate seamless event delivery in collaboration with internal teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a diverse range of unique, social, and highly personalised experiences, and for coordinating and managing conferences, events, and sales.
Qualifications
* Dynamic, confident, and professional personality with a friendly approach
* Proven experience in conference and events coordination, with exposure to sales (highly desirable)
* Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
* Outstanding customer service skills with a client‐focused mindset
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments, including Operations and Food & Beverage, ensuring seamless event delivery
* Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism
* Experience with the following systems: Ivvy (desirable)
* A genuine passion for the hospitality and events industry
* Strong local knowledge of Canberra and surrounding regions (highly desirable)
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility for evening or weekend shifts
* Must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia
