The Opportunity
Xavier College is seeking an experienced, customer-service oriented ICT Support Officer to join our expanding ICT Operations team across our multi-campus College. This is an exciting opportunity providing timely, professional and effective ICT support to staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our hardware, software and network systems. You will work closely with the ICT Operations team to ensure all ICT services are delivered efficiently and in line with CESA ICT protocols.
As ICT Support Officer you will:
* Provide prompt and professional ICT support to staff and students, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues.
* Resolve routine computer hardware and network connectivity issues in line with CESA ICT protocols.
* Respond to help desk requests, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications, programs, and hardware.
* Support Office 365 administration tasks, including user account management, password resets, security, and device management.
* Administer the College ICT device program, managing warranties and insurance claims for damaged or faulty devices.
* Ensure compliance with all ICT operations policies, legislative requirements, and CESA guidelines.

About you
To be successful in this role you will be technically competent and an experienced ICT professional with a broad knowledge base, capable of providing efficient support, system and software setup and operating a variety of ICT equipment. You will hold a Certificate IV in Information Technology (or equivalent) and/or have demonstrated experience in similar roles, with experience in school-based systems. You excel in delivering strong customer service, interacting positively and professionally with all members of the College community. You will be flexible, reliable and available for out-of-hours maintenance to minimise user impact. You quickly comprehend instructions, respond appropriately, and consistently maintain confidentiality.
