Guest Services Manager

The Oaks Broome Hotel and the Oaks Cable Beach Resort are seeking an experienced Guest Services Manager to lead their front office team. As a key member of the hotel’s management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the front office team in delivering outstanding guest services and ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued.
* Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional guest services.
* Work closely with the hotel manager to ensure that the hotel's operational standards are met and exceeded.
* Resolve any guest complaints in a professional and timely manner, always striving to find a solution that meets the guest’s needs.
* Manage the front office budget and ensure that all expenses are accounted for and reported accurately.
* Support the hotel manager with recruitment and training of new staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* A minimum of 2+ years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding, proactive guest services.
* Understanding of trust accounting principles and practices.
* Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
