About the Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, we have a great opportunity for a Project Risk Consultant to join our team in Adelaide. You will work closely with TBH leaders and client-side teams to provide technical expertise across the entire project lifecycle in TBH's advisory services. In this technical position, you will bring industry experience paired with strong problem-solving skills, drawing on critical thinking and good communication skills to deliver quality outputs for clients across a variety of industries such as infrastructure, energy & renewables, utilities, construction and defence.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in Project Risk Management, Project Controls or Planning & Scheduling with experience or looking to gain experience in a consultancy environment. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve large-scale project challenges.
As our Project Risk Consultant you will be responsible for:
* Risk management function support including establishing risk strategy, appetite, procedures, reporting protocols and escalation paths.
* Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA) including the application of best practices in deterministic methodologies, including risk factors and parametric analysis.
* Model and map risks to schedules, including interpretation of results critically, ensuring alignment with project objectives and outcomes.
* Reviewing project risk registers for completeness and comprehensiveness.
* Managing risk registers and developing actionable mitigation plans.
* Understanding of various contracting models and how this affects contractual risk management.
* Dashboard Reporting and Analytics using computer software applications such as Power BI.
* Reviewing, interpreting and analysing data from various records and present findings in various formats based on project requirements to enhance decision making processes.
* Knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling preferred.
What you'll bring
As our successful candidate you'll bring:
* 2-3 years of industry experience in risk management, project controls or planning & scheduling.
* Qualification in Engineering (preferred).
* Proficiency in the use of computer systems including Microsoft Suite.
* Experience using quantitative risk analysis tools including Safran, Acumen Risk, Oracle Primavera Risk Analyser, @RISK (preferred).
* Experience providing risk support on large scale projects.
* Sound problem solving and analytical skills.
* Strong work organisation and time management skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team/partnership with clients.
* Experience using planning & scheduling and controls software including Primavera, Microsoft Project, Power BI.
