As a key member of the maintenance team, the Mechanical Fitter is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and cost effective maintenance performance and plant reliability.Key Responsibilities:The Electrical Fitter will report to the Maintenance Team leader and;Actively participate in and support the safe execution of maintenance activities, taking a safety first approachComplete maintenance activities scheduled and unscheduled, delivering a quality of work that supports the reliability and availability of the plantUtilise the site CMMS (SAP) to capture all relevant information associated to tasks & work in accordance with the Origin Work Management proceduresCreate positive and productive relationship through open and clear communication with all stakeholders across the operationParticipate in continuous improvement activities that support the ongoing improvement in safety, maintenance & plant performanceWhat will you bring?Relevant Trade qualifications, an electrical license and relevant post trade experienceA commitment to safety and a continuous improvement mindsetAlignment to Origin values & willingness to contribute to a great culture and work environmentKnowledge and experience of plant, equipment, materials and maintenance methods used in Power Stations or similar heavy industryPrevious experience utilising SAP or other CMMSAbility to plan and prioritise daily activitiesOrigin - Where good change happensAt Origin, we’re powered by people who believe in creating change.We are committed to fostering a diverse, gender equitable workforce, where everyone is welcome, and all applications are evaluated on merit and potential.
