OverviewVentia is hiring a Carpenter at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Woodville South, SA.
This permanent, full-time role involves reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor modifications across hospital facilities to help ensure safe, functional environments for staff and patients.
The AGFMA contract provides facilities management services to government sites across South Australia, delivered 365 days a year.This is a on-site, Monday to Friday position.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out carpentry and trade-related tasks within specified timeframes and quality standards, based on drawings, templates, and instructions.Diagnose faults and perform repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements.Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely, and assist with non-mechanical maintenance and construction activities.Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic documentation uploaded to company systems.Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the service delivery team to support smooth operations.Complete tasks within time and budget constraints, escalate issues as needed, and contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement.About YouTrade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).
Current Australian Driver's Licence.Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
