Are you an experienced administrator with strong attention to detail and a passion for supporting operational excellence?
TFI Proteins is seeking a Rendering Administrator to join our Murray Bridge Rendering Plant, providing vital administrative and reporting support across Production, Quality, Compliance, WHS, Environmental and Maintenance functions.
About the Role
As the Rendering Administrator, you will play a key part in ensuring daily reporting, documentation and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of the plant.
Safety & Compliance
* Actively promoting a “safety first” culture and ensuring incidents are reported and investigated.
* Supporting the site’s HACCP and Quality programs, including maintaining GMP standards and internal auditing.
* Coordinating samples, testing, and daily compliance reporting aligned with Australian Standards.
* Maintain communication with operators and key staff to ensure quality and operational standards are met.
Production Support
* Perform payroll entry, daily production recording, checking monitoring and shift reports.
* Coordinate product loadouts and logistics, liaising with transport providers and suppliers.
* Support invoicing, stock recording and export/domestic documentation.
* Assisting with equipment repair requests, production performance reporting, and invoicing.
* Maintaining effective communication with management, production staff, transport companies, and suppliers.
Environmental & Maintenance Reporting
* Compiling environmental data including odour control and weather station reporting.
* Entering maintenance work data via Maintenance database software and I-Leader systems.
* Processing purchase orders and invoices for both Rendering and Abattoir operations.
Human Resources & Cross-Functional Support
* Contributing to performance outcomes, teamwork, and stakeholder relationships across departments.
* Performing other duties as required by management and participating in regular meetings.
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong administrative experience with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry systems, logistics and/or accounting software.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Relevant training such as HACCP, GMP, First Aid, WHS (preferred but not essential).
Skills & Attributes
* Strong accuracy, problem-solving capability, and ability to prioritise workloads.
* Effective communication skills—both written and verbal.
* A team-focused mindset with leadership qualities.
Work Requirements
* Valid driver’s licence and visa eligibility.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments including hearing, drug, and alcohol testing.
* Physically able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 20kg; able to wear PPE for long durations.
Working Environment
TFI Murray Bridge Rendering operates 24/7, and while standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, some flexibility is required to meet operational needs.
You’ll collaborate closely with management, production, quality, maintenance, admin, HR, and external suppliers and customers.
