* Salary : $100,322 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
You will deliver teaching materials and conduct associated administrative duties across Public Health programs, as well as facilitate student learning in work integrated learning settings. You will utilise contemporary professional / discipline-related knowledge to develop a program of research aligned to Public Health.
Core Responsibilities
o Under direction, prepare and conduct learning activities including lectures, tutorials, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students
o Undertake high quality teaching as part of the teaching team, including participation in moderation of marking exercises and benchmarking
o Undertake course coordination duties, under supervision of the Program Director
o Conduct research and scholarly activity which will result in publications in refereed journals and in presenting conference papers
Essential Skills and Experience
o Demonstrated ability and experience carrying out teaching activities in a wide range of related courses, which are academically relevant and reflect contemporary pedagogical, student and professional needs and standards
o A demonstrated ability to provide teaching and supervision of Public Health students
o A demonstrated capacity to provide discipline input to the Public Health curriculum including program accreditation and benchmarking processes, as relevant
