Your New Role
Are you customer service-focused with strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence? Then join our dynamic team with this newly created Weighbridge Operator position at our Pinkenba yard.
You will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge office, liaising with customers & truck drivers, managing bulk shipping activities, answering calls, record keeping, and creating transfers for intercompany transactions. As the position develops, you will also be required to assist in yard duties.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Providing timely and professional customer service
Maintaining accurate records in line with company requirements
Organising the office, including files and records
Supporting the Yard Manager administratively
Prioritising safety in all activities
Assisting with yard duties as required
To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have
Proven customer service skills
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
Strong computer skills, especially data entry with accuracy and speed
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
A friendly telephone manner
An organised approach and effective time management
Experience operating a weighbridge is highly advantageous but not essential
