About Our Tax Management Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a critical role in preparing direct tax compliance obligations and providing advisory services for our Australian businesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work with a dynamic and growing organization, utilizing their expertise to drive success. Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of accurate income tax returns, quarterly and financial year tax effect accounting calculations, and reporting for allocated business units.
2. Providing practical and timely tax advice on a range of issues, including income tax, indirect tax, and international tax.
3. Assisting with the management of ATO and state revenue authority reviews, audits, and disputes.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. A CA or CPA qualification and experience in a large chartered accounting firm or in a large corporate in-house tax function are highly desirable.
