Working within our fast-paced Human Resources Department, you will utilise your HR experience and qualifications to support our business nationally, providing advice to our on-road sales and management teams, internal departments and our 3 distribution centres located in Dandenong, Ormeau and Balcatta. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Performing generalist HR tasks to ensure compliance with Australian workplace laws and alignment with organizational goals
Providing strategic advice, guidance, coaching and support to managers on employment matters including but not limited to absence management, performance management, alleged bullying or discrimination, termination of employment, breaches of code of conduct and leave entitlements Management of end-to-end disciplinary processes Conducting internal investigations including in relation to misconduct, bullying, harassment and discrimination
Interpreting legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and providing advice to management and staff Developing, implementing and advising on policies and procedures Provide guidance and support to our HR Colleagues
Critical to your success will be: Minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally some experience in a supervisory capacity A solid understanding of the current principles of employment and equal opportunity law and industrial relations
An ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships to motivate and educate stakeholders Sound knowledge of current issues in the Australian workplace relations workplace Well-developed interpersonal skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with high level problem-solving skills and the ability to think flexibly to develop solutions to meet business needs A relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience (e.g. Human Resources or Law) or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training We will provide you with:
