Role Description
This full-time, on-site position is based in the Greater Perth Area. The Food Chemistry Laboratory Technician will perform daily laboratory tasks, including operating laboratory equipment, conducting experiments, and ensuring the accuracy of test results. Key responsibilities include sample preparation, testing for quality control, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment. The technician will also document findings accurately and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in handling and operating Laboratory Equipment with attention to detail
* Strong Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience as Laboratory Technician in similar environments
* Knowledge of Quality Control protocols and ability to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Well-developed Analytical Skills and ability to interpret and present data effectively
* Strong organizational skills, commitment to safety practices, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Relevant qualifications in food science, chemistry, or a related field
* Experience in food or agribusiness-related laboratories is highly regarded
