Job Description
We are seeking a Mine Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating mine activities, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe working environment.
* Develop and implement mine plans, taking into account geological constraints, production targets, and safety considerations.
* Coordinate with mining operations teams to ensure that planned activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of mine activities, including production data, equipment performance, and safety incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mining Engineer, preferably with mine planning experience.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office computer packages (Word, Excel, etc.) and mine design software (Deswik).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* First Aid Certificate or equivalent.

Location
The role is based in regional Victoria, with access to medical services, schools, universities, sports & recreational facilities, evening entertainment.
This is a great opportunity to relocate to Bendigo, regional towns in the Bendigo region, or the outer suburbs of north Melbourne.
* 8:6 roster, Thursday to Thursday, working 11 hours per day, finishing early on day 8 (leaving site at around 1.00pm).
