**The Role**
**Position Title: Channel and Solutions Sales Manager, Oceania**
The role is responsible leading and developing the Indirect Channel partner business and overall Solutions Sales function in the Oceania Zone and expanding Markem-Imaje marking, coding presence and market share within the Indirect regions in addition to software solutions across Oceania.
**What you will do**:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan which includes detailed initiatives to maximise Markem-Imaje's coverage of the territory through direct and indirect channels, to meet the revenue, profit and growth targets of the assigned territories.
- Ensure active engagement and coverage of Key accounts through your direct presence and in collaboration with the direct and indirect sales teams.
- Build understanding of the competition, market trends and opportunities to further develop Sales strategies across the identified verticals, territories.
- Establish and maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects and truly understand their needs and/or concerns points.
- Work closely with cross-functional team members in driving business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support Distributors as necessary to maximise their performance while holding them accountable for their targets.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all company policies and applicable laws.
**What you need to have**:
- A team player with advanced level of people and sales management skills including the ability to engage, motivate, coach, and drive for performance.
- Advanced level of interpersonal, communication, analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving
- Have strong drive for results including the ability to do budgeting and financial management.
- Be accepting and adaptable to change and exhibit change leadership behaviours that engage others to follow new directions.
- Strong operational knowledge of the Company's products and services offered.
- Highly competent in strategic selling, sales forecasting, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the market and competitors.
- Experienced level of customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs and grow the customer base.
- Ability to analyse data and understand the importance of the key metrics to drive the business.
- Experienced in lead and funnel management.
- Strong financial knowledge to deal with financial buyers and make informed financial discussion that can help differentiate the Company from our competitors.
- Ambitious, personable, and driven with a detail oriented, forward-thinking attitude
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- At least 10 years of Solution Sales & Channel Management within a technology company with complex B2B interactions with proven track record of success.
- Experience working in global matrix organization MNC/international group handling big strategic accounts preferably in FMCG or large industrial space.
