This is a permanent full-time position for a Nurse Educator Specialist, focused on delivering clinical education and training within the ward to promote competence of nursing staff.
* Develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive education programs for staff.
* Mentor and support new graduates, students and experienced nurses in their professional development.
* Organize orientation and ongoing competency assessments and monitor compliance to mandatory training requirements.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice standards are met.
About You
Applicants must hold a current registration with the relevant Nursing Board and demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively with others as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency in delivering adult education at a ward level and understanding learning and assessment principles is essential.
