Programmed are partnered with one of the largest privately owned agricultural companies in Australia traditionally known for their large scale feedlots. They also operate a unique fertiliser facility where they use innovative technology to produce environmentally friendly, carbon-based products. This facility is actually one of the first of its kind in Australia and the plant repurposes manure to supply sustainable, industry leading products to all types of Australian farms.
In this role you'll be responsible for providing operational leadership for the operation, ensuring efficiency, sustainability and safety. This will involve:
* Maintaining adequate staff and skill levels to perform required responsibilities by monitoring employee productivity, safety and operational compliance
* Managing production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers to meet shift production goals and to ensure operations are running at optimal levels
* Managing shift scheduling, rotations, breaks and overtime
* Undertaking quality control
* Measuring key operational performance indicators.
* Promoting continuous improvement in production, operational standard & procedures.
* Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the entire process.
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience in a production/manufacturing role.
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge in modern process and production methodologies (including but not limited to materials handling, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, HACCP Protocols, FMCG and GMP principles).
* Proven leadership & communication skills
* Demonstrated computer literacy.
* Advanced organisational skills.
* Ability to remain level-headed under pressure and exercise good judgement to make timely practical and effective decisions.
In this role, you will work 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and we're looking to offer a salary of $80-90k for the ideal candidate, alongside constant development opportunities.
