About the role
* Team Global Express is currently seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to commence immediately at our Tennyson Depot in Brisbane.
* This is a Full time, Permanent role Monday to Friday, 6am starts
* Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safely
* Sort through Refrigerated Freight and split time effectively between the Cold Room and the General Floor
* Break down pallets and consolidate them into appropriate Loads
* Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight
* Manual handling where applicable, including building & wrapping of pallets
* Picking and preparing runs for following day
* Palletizing freight for travel where required
* Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.
* Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely.
* Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process
* Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to.
* Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
* Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.
What you'll bring
* You will hold a Current & Valid Forklift License (Mandatory)
* You will be able to work as part of a team
* You will able to follow instructions and work autonomously where required
* You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
* You will have a high attention towards Safety
