Senior Oracle Database Developer
Adelaide - Hybrid - (3+2) | 8-Months Contract | AUD 100/hour + Super
Are you a seasoned Oracle database developer, with 7+ years of experience, ready to make an immediate impact on a high-profile transformation project? We're seeking a senior professional with deep expertise in Oracle development to join a dynamic team working on a major university establishment initiative.
Please note: We are specifically seeking Oracle database skills for this role — not SQL Server.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and execute hands-on Oracle database development tasks.
* Design and build data integrations, perform data cleansing, and enable data migrations across diverse systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable database solutions.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in Oracle database design, development, and support—especially integrations via tables, views, and procedures.
* Strong command of SQL and PL/SQL, with a focus on performance optimisation and data quality.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
* Solid understanding of security across applications, databases, networks, and cloud platforms.
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.

* Previous experience in the Higher Education sector.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in large-scale IT environments.
