Collection Systems Project Officer Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to provide high-quality project support and coordination to staff in the use and development of collection management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert support and coordination, technical development and documentation, scheduling, and user support and training for the Collection Management System (currently EMu) and Digital Asset Management System (currently Piction).
* Equip Museum staff with skills in both general use and specific business processes through workshops and one-on-one training sessions.
* Develop and maintain associated training documentation, including comprehensive manuals and data entry guidelines.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues using technical expertise and enhance systems to improve business processes and efficiencies.
* Assist with data cleaning, migration, and system upgrades, as well as publishing records onto the online catalogue, Collection Explorer.
