Conference and Events Sales Manager Role

The successful candidate will manage the full event lifecycle, from initial client contact to billing, post-event follow-up, and reporting. They will interpret and consolidate client requirements to deliver seamless events aligned with hotel standards.
This includes coordinating with key departments, conducting site inspections, sourcing new business, overseeing event budgets, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage conferences and events from start to finish, ensuring seamless delivery and high levels of client satisfaction.
* Interpret and consolidate client requirements, developing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
* Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure effective event execution.
* Conduct site inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience.
* Maintain accurate records, track event metrics, and provide insights to inform future business decisions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in conference and events sales or operations within a hotel environment.
* Strong organisational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
* Proficiency in event management systems (Delphi/Opera desirable) and Microsoft Office.
