Council is seeking a leader who is passionate about aquatics to help run our local pools and create lasting memories for our community.
In This Role You Will
Supervise and lead operations across four pools in Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood and Captains Flat, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and aquatic program delivery.
Support with the operation and programming of Council's swim school for all ages.
Monitor and enforce safety, maintenance and cleaning measures across all regional pools to uphold a safe, welcoming and fun environment for customers.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has experience in recreation centre management, business, or management.
Has good time management skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge on WH&S processes and policies as well as emergency management protocols.
Has proven leadership skills to motivate and supervise a large staff cohort.
Possesses a Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Accreditation and Advance First Aid Certificate.
