This is your chance to advance in a setting where nurses have progressed to senior roles and, for some, to retirement lifestyle opportunities.
With five operating theatres, a procedural room, and a 10-bay recovery unit, our department supports a wide range of surgical specialties including trauma, orthopaedics, upper GI, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology. As a Registered Nurse in our theatres, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across subspecialties, access mentorship, and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.

- A fast-track pathway to Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), with structured support through our clinical ladder learning model

- Protected time for CNSs to manage administrative duties, equipment oversight and staff development
- Flexible rostering, short commutes, and a lifestyle in an affordable regional town
