**Maintenance Technician Role**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team. As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
* Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in our inventory management system.
* Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
* Collaborate with our maintenance supervisor and site manager on budget planning and asset management.
* Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
* Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and organizational policies.
About this role:
* Minimum 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
* Hands-on property maintenance experience.
* Understanding of operational processes.
* Experience managing property-related contractors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
* Experience in a community services environment.
