Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for our next superstar to join our tight knit team in Ballarat to work within the New Employment Services space in the role of Rehabilitation Consultant!
In this role, you will provide vocational counselling and assessment services to assist with job placement and return to work predominantly within WorkCover (Experience in TAC, ComCare and Life Insurance schemes highly regarded). As a Rehabilitation Consultant, your day to day will involve completing Vocational Assessments, Capacity Support Services, Health Coaching and Treater Case Conferences.

You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.

Qualifications
- Qualifications in an appropriate Allied Health field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy; Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling etc.
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA or other suitable Allied Health governing body is also a mandatory requirement.
- Robust interpersonal skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
- Excellent Time management and organizational skills
- Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
- Patience and resilience - essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
- A current VIC Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
