Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our vibrant hospitality team, supporting the health and wellbeing of over 142 aged care residents and servicing a thriving onsite café and restaurant catering to more than 300 retirement village residents.
We pride ourselves on delivering fresh and delicious meals served with love and care.
75 hours per fortnight, 10 days a week.
weekends included Key Responsibilities Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks.
Cooking and preparing high quality dishes.
Assisting the Chef Manager to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes.
Supervising all kitchen stations.
Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels.
Being responsible for health and safety and food hygiene practices Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines What We Offer Competitive salary packaging arrangements, including salary packaging with meal and entertainment packaging.
