We're looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our team at our office in Archerfield. This is a Permanent, Monday to Saturday alternating roster role (38 hours per week).
The role follows a 2-week rotation as follows:
10am – 6pm
4pm – midnight
Start times rotate every week
2 weeks of afternoon shifts every 4 weeks
Saturday shifts are every 4 weeks
What you'll be doing:
As a Lab Assistant at Hastings Deering, you will:
* Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
* Unpack and sort samples
* Assign label numbers appropriately
* Register samples including data entry
* Card scanning
* Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance
* Dispose of samples
* Receive stock
* Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools and property
