Join Our Performing Arts Team
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the vibrant North Australian Festival of Arts. The festival is a dynamic celebration of circus, theatre, dance, music, and more.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can help us create magic behind the scenes. As an artist & customer attendant, you will welcome festival attendees, assist with directions and answer questions, provide information about performances and schedules, distribute festival programs, maps, and promotional flyers, conduct surveys with festival attendees, assist artists during performances, assist with artist transportation, and support front-of-house staff when necessary.
* Driver's Licence (C) is required for this role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
* Ability to work well in a team and independently is crucial
* Flexibility and willingness to take on different roles as needed are vital
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome festival attendees, assist with directions and answer questions
2. Provide information about performances and schedules
3. Distribute festival programs, maps, and promotional flyers
4. Conduct surveys with festival attendees
5. Assist artists during performances
6. Assist with artist transportation
7. Support front-of-house staff when necessary
Requirements:
* Driver's Licence (C)
* Enthusiasm for performing arts and community events
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence to engage effectively with customers and artists
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Flexibility and willingness to take on different roles as needed
* Reliable and punctual

Additional Requirements:
Wednesday – Sunday AM & PM Shifts – Minimum of 2 x 5 hour shifts required.
