**Community Homecare Worker**

Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team. **We are currently recruiting for a Community Homecare worker to join our Northern Rivers team.**
**The role**:
This role involves travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
**Duties and responsibilities may include**:
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
- Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
- Services are generally between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to Friday
**What you will need**:
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Valid Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
- Smartphone with internet access
