Who You Are:
Our team is seeking an experienced and creative Youtube Video Editor. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing Live Action videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in social media and pop culture community.
Your Responsibilities and Skills:
1. Editing Approach: Proficient in executing ever-evolving editing techniques akin to the referenced channels, ensuring accessibility for younger audiences and maintaining their engagement.
2. Multi-Cam editing experience: Edit videos that are filmed with multiple camera set-ups.
3. Storytelling Focus: Demonstrates a strong emphasis on storytelling, highlighting relationships and dialogue between characters to captivate the audience.
4. Audience Engagement Understanding: Well-versed in identifying and catering to factors that keep viewers engaged and intrigued, thus retaining their interest throughout the content.
5. Editing Style Mimicry: Capable of mimicking existing editing styles from YouTube channels such as Stay Wild and Aquarium Info to resonate with the target audience.
6. Cuts, Flow, and Tempo Mastery: Skillful in managing cuts, flow, and tempo variations to avoid "Dead Space" and maintain an engaging pace throughout the content.
7. Creative Outlook: Maintains a creative outlook by staying updated with trends in social media and pop culture, infusing fresh and relevant elements into content.
8. Music Integration Understanding: Familiar with editing styles both with and without music, adapting to the preferences of the audience and utilizing music effectively to enhance the viewing experience.
9. SFX Implementation: Capable of effectively incorporating sound effects, knowing when, where, and what to add to enhance immersion and narrative impact in the content.
Requirements:
10. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing.
11. Skillful use of both Sound Effects (SFX) and Visual Effects (VFX) to enhance video quality and storytelling.
12. Exceptional communication skills and proactive engagement within team dynamics.
13. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for seamless editing workflows.
14. Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and navigate project timelines effectively.
15. Demonstrated capacity to incorporate feedback constructively and adapt editing approaches accordingly.
16. In-depth knowledge of social media and pop-culture trends
17. Preferably, experience in timecode syncing for precise editing synchronization.
Bonus:
18. Proficiency in utilizing YouTube Analytics and key metrics such as Average View Duration (AVD), Click-Through Rate (CTR), AVD in the first 30 seconds, and Impressions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding.
19. Expertise in applying Look-Up Tables (LUTs) and Color Correction techniques to enhance visual aesthetics.
