Our client, located in The Barossa Valley are seeking a Town Maintenance Team Member to join their team! Working across a 9-day fortnight, you will find yourself joining a friendly and hard-working team.
This position will commence on a casual contract, over 3-4 months, working 38+ hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out construction and maintenance of roads, kerbs and gutters, footpaths, streets and storm water drainage to support the operation and function of the local area.
* Operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures, to assist the delivery of high quality and safe services to the community.
* Undertaking pruning, planting, establishment and maintenance of public trees and plants.
Qualifications and Experience
* Valid MR Driver's License
* White Card
* Valid Working with Children's Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Be physically able to complete general labour tasks
* Demonstrated experience working in a previous General Labourer role
