Are you passionate about Italian delicacies, coffees and excellent customer service? Carbonis Next Door is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our vibrant team. Located in Ballarat East and Buninyong, we bring a slice of Italy to our community through our Traditional locally made and Imported products, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere.
Position:
Delicatessen and Café Attendant:
Casual and Part-Time (average 20 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Preparing coffees, sandwich, gelato, shakes items and serving deli products.
* Taking payments.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli areas.
* Ensuring all food displays are attractive and stock is rotated.
Requirements:
* Must be available to work weekends (2-3 times a month on a rotating roster).
* for Part-Time must be available at least 3 days a week.
* Must be available from 7:30am and/or until 5:30pm.
* Must have previous experience in a café and/or delicatessen.
* Must be able to make quality coffee.
* Must have or be able to obtain RSA.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have valid Australian work rights or acceptable work visa.
