The Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department in all areas of pharmacy practice, including dispensing, production, distribution and clinical activities.

- Completion of a Certificate III (or willing to undertake) or Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Pharmacy Support or relevant qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent; competency in dispensing, non-sterile production and ward distribution; and ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations (Technician Grades only).
- Recent relevant work experience in pharmacy.
