Senior Reward & Global Mobility Partner, 16M Fixed-Term Contract

Sydney

Design, refine and maintain Zip’s remuneration and reward framework. Partner with various teams in AU and US to deliver initiatives that attract and retain our talented Zipsters. Work flexibility from our beautiful Sydney office.

Overview

Reporting into the Group Chief People Officer, this role requires you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners to execute initiatives that attract and retain our talented Zipsters. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance to the P&C; team and broader business on matters related to Remuneration, Reward, Benefits, Global Mobility, Visas and People & Culture Policy.

Responsibilities

- Uphold Zip’s Remuneration & Reward Framework & Philosophy in line with business strategy.
- Assist with the delivery of existing and new remuneration practices across the employee and executive population, ensuring alignment with strategy, internal policy, legislative and governance requirements. This includes: annual remuneration and bonus reviews (collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate budgeting); job design, grading, benchmarking and management of internal salary bands; variable compensation plans (STI, LTI, LTE and LTC); and management of Zip's global share plans from offer stage to vesting/exercise.
- Assist with communication of policy and changes to employees, leaders and team members (e.g., training or development of internal FAQs).
- Provide data-driven remuneration advice and recommendations, liaising with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Tax & Finance; prepare quarterly papers for the Remuneration, People & Culture Committee of the Zip Board.
- Collaborate with Finance and Senior Equity & Rewards Partner to draft the Annual Remuneration Report.
- Maintain tools for market analysis to enable a competitive remuneration strategy, including submission of salary surveys (e.g., Aon Radford and FIRG).
- Maintain partnerships with external vendors and service partners (tax and global mobility advisors, immigration lawyers, remuneration consultants, etc.).
- Prepare workpapers for internal and external reporting requirements on Zip’s Gender Pay Equity and Gender Pay Gap metrics (preparation and submission of the Workplace Profile for Zip’s Annual WGEA reporting).
- Work with the CPOs to deliver long-term strategies within the compensation and benefits environment across Australian and US markets.
- Contribute to ad-hoc rewards and people analytics projects as needed.

Global Mobility

- Assist in the execution of Zip’s Global Mobility policies, programs and initiatives related to visas & immigration, work from anywhere, remote work and international relocation or assignments.
- Ensure mobility initiatives are delivered effectively and in compliance with tax, legal obligations and company policy.

What you’ll bring to the team

Education & Background:

- 8+ years of corporate experience in a Reward-related role, preferably with an ASX-listed company in the Fintech or broader financial services sector.
- Proficiency in HR information systems, reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., BambooHR, Charthop, Elmo, Greenhouse, Monday.com and Lattice).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Google/Microsoft product suite.
- Knowledge of People & Culture policies and practices, remuneration, reward and incentive plans, including HR best practices, relevant legislation and ASX governance/compliance.
- ANZ and US remuneration philosophy administration; role evaluation and benchmarking across all employee and executive populations.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to provide timely, consistent advice and resolve complex issues.
- High attention to detail, refined analytical skills, and ability to provide data-driven recommendations and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Experience drafting quarterly Board Papers and the Annual Remuneration Report.
- Interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; ability to influence outcomes.
- Flexibility to accommodate meetings across various time zones; openness to AI and new tools for learning and growth.
