This global software business who distributes site wide technology solutions to the Heavy and Highway Construction, Landfill and Marine contractors are on the hunt for their next Sales representative.
Reporting to the Sales Manager this role is responsible for utilising technical knowledge to drive sales and answer customer product queries within ACT and Southern NSW region.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and liaise with a portfolio of customers with the region
- Utilise technical product knowledge to drive sales and profit growth within remit through strategic planning and relationship management
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and potential customers
- Providing expert technical product advice and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with the operations and sales teams to develop strategies, plans and proposals
- Managing stakeholder queries and expectations within remit and escalating to Sales Manager when necessary
- Having a thorough understanding of client current and future needs and requirements
- Identifying service improvement activity to increase effective and efficient business operations
**Experience needed**
- Deep understanding of the construction industry
- Experience in a client facing role with strong account management skills
- Flexibility to travel throughout NSW region
- Current Australian drivers license
