You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with AI engineers, data scientists and automation developers, not handing off requirements over a wall, but solving problems together from day one. What you'll do Partner with the business to find AI and automation opportunities worth pursuing Run joint discovery alongside engineers, process walkthroughs, current/future state, technical feasibility Translate ambiguous problems into clear, testable requirements Define what "good" looks like for AI outputs (accuracy, edge cases, human-in-the-loop) and automation outcomes (straight-through processing, exception handling) Stay close through build and test, available for fast clarifications Capture the value delivered post-deployment so we know what's working What we're looking for 5 years as a BA on technology-enabled change Genuine comfort with ambiguity and an appetite for hard problems Some exposure to AI, automation or data science work and curiosity to go much deeper Strong process analysis, documentation and communication skills A collaborative, iterative way of working, you don't believe in 50-page specs What we're not looking for Day-one mastery of every AI platform or automation tool.
