Our client, a large Federal Government Department a responsible for signals intelligence, providing intelligence support to Australian military operations, are looking for a Wintel Engineer.
Duties of the Wintel Engineer:
* Implement security controls to uplift security posture across the Australian Government.
* Uplift Essential Eight maturity and remediate cyber security vulnerabilities.
* Facilitate and participate in workshops for design and remediation activities.
* Prototype security configurations for the development of advice.
* Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Degree in Computer Science, ICT or equivalent work experience of 5+ years.
* Demonstrated experience with software and systems such as Active Directory, Windows, Linux or Cloud
* Demonstrated experience with implementing Essential Eight mitigation strategies at Maturity Level 2 or greater.
* Experience with designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex programs/scripts.
