About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing, multi‑entity retail business operating across APAC. They pride themselves on a high‑performance finance function and are expanding due to continued growth and increased operational complexity.
Job Description
* Full ownership of balance sheet accounts across APAC, including month‑end reconciliations.
* Property‑related accounting, including loan schedules and interest accruals.
* Intercompany eliminations, weekly reconciliation of loan balances and consolidation entries.
* Preparation of audit workpapers and acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
* Management of leave liabilities, director loan accounting and fixed asset registers.
* Clearing suspense accounts and ensuring accurate re‑invoicing and entity allocations.
* Preparation of income tax and BAS/GST working papers across all entities.
* Maintenance and periodic update of deferred tax assets and liabilities.
The Successful Applicant
* Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting knowledge across balance sheet ownership and reconciliations.
* Experience with multi‑entity accounting, intercompany eliminations and consolidation.
* Confident in audit preparation, fixed assets, tax compliance and month‑end processes.
* High attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on and growing finance environment.
