Cook Grade 4 / Senior Cook

Full-Time or Part-Time (30–38 hrs)
Masarap Cookie Co is expanding into a Filipino–Australian fusion café and we're looking for a confident, reliable Senior Cook to run our kitchen.
We are known for our loaded cookies and desserts and are now introducing Filipino comfort food, Aussie brunch favourites, and specialty drinks.
This role is perfect for someone who wants responsibility and creative input while working in a growing independent café.
About the Role
You will:
* Run kitchen service independently
* Prepare and cook Filipino & Aussie café dishes
* Assist in menu development
* Manage daily prep and stock rotation
* Maintain high food safety standards
* Keep kitchen organised and efficient
* Work closely with the owners to grow the concept
You must be confident working solo during service.

What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2–3 years café/kitchen experience
* Ability to run a small kitchen alone
* Strong prep and organisation skills
* Knowledge of food safety standards
* Experience with brunch-style service preferred
* Filipino cuisine experience highly regarded (not essential)
* Cert III in Commercial Cookery preferred but not required

Service runs 7:30am–2:00pm
Typical shift: 7:00am–2:30pm
6-day trading week (rotating days off)
Part-time or full-time available for the right candidate.
