Are you a passionate and dedicated childcare professional looking to make a difference in the lives of young children? Our vibrant childcare centre in Puckapunyal is seeking a qualified Room Leader for our Nursery Room.
About Us: One Tree Defence Unit Puckapunyal, located near Seymour in Regional Victoria, is committed to providing an enriching and nurturing environment where children thrive. We adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on delivering high-quality educational programs that foster holistic development. We have placements for 86 children across our long day care, including pre-kindergarten, nursery, toddler room, preschool, and outside of school hours care. Our operating hours are from 7 am to 6 pm.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that foster learning and development. Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and centre policies. Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance daily tasks and responsibilities. Qualifications and About You: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). Proven leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset. Current First Aid Certificates. Current Mandatory Reporting Certificate. Current WWCC VIC & National Police Clearance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. You will be required to be a Responsible Person. What We Offer: A supportive and friendly work environment.
