We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Leader to coordinate service operations in a busy heavy vehicle workshop.
This senior-level role is ideal for someone with dealership or fleet experience who understands the importance of clear communication, accurate job planning, and seamless coordination between the workshop floor and valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming service enquiries and schedule workshop jobs
* Liaise between technicians and customers to provide timely updates and accurate information
* Interpret mechanical issues, service needs, and repair priorities
* Prepare job cards, cost estimates, and final invoices with attention to detail
* Maintain strong communication with parts and workshop teams to meet scheduling commitments
* Proactively manage delays and customer expectations with professionalism
* Assist with warranty claims and OEM liaison when required
* Drive continual improvements in customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency
* Uphold compliance, safety, and quality standards in all service operations
Requirements and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Service Advisor or similar front-of-house workshop role
* Background in trucks, heavy diesel or OEM dealership environment highly regarded
* High-level organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Familiarity with job management or dealership software (e.g. Reynolds & Reynolds, Pentana, or similar)
* Technical understanding of heavy vehicle servicing and repairs
* Manual drivers license essential
